Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the molding natural sand, hereinafter, referred to as the “natural sand, of 2 % min. in clay content. 2. Classification The natural sand (I) shall b
5、e classified into 4 classes according to claly content and classified into 6 Numbers of number 48 to number 270 according to fineness. Note (l) The natural sand is moulding sand naturally containing 2 % min. clay content, which is not related to the state of digging place. 3. Ignition Loss The natur
6、al sand contains clay content of 2 % min. and its ignition loss shall be 6 % max. 4. Clav Content The clay content of natural sand shall be as given in Table 1.
