Material and Range of Application * I The springs shall be made of materials conformipg to JIS G 4801, JIS G 3522, JIS G 3521 and . T

As far as possible, figures in parentheses should be avbided from use. The material of round section only, but o f rectangular section is nat considered for use. 4.
12、Tolerance 4.1 Unless otherwise specified, the tolerances on dimensions and load of springs shall be as given in Table 3. Manufacturing Process 5.1 Heat treatment process shall be as follows: (1) Springs made of piano wire shall be annealed at a low temperature of approximately 350C after manufactu
16、re. (2) Springs made of wire exceeding 6 mm in diameter shall be quenched and annealed after manufacture and those made of wire not exceeding 6 mm in diameter should usually be heat-treated in the same way as piano wire. (3) Springs made of spring steel bar shall be heat-treated and tempered after m
17、anufacture. (4) Springs made of phosphor bronze wire shall be tempered at a low tem- perature of approximately 150C after manufacture. 5.2 Springs subjected to high speed repeated load or impact 0.r to important heavy duty functian shall be made of material with ground surface. 6. 20、th of spring does not exceed four times the mean diameter of coil. 7. Forms of Coil Ends 7.1 The shape of ends of compression springs of which the diameter of material exceeding approximately 8 mm should be as shown in Fig. 1, for those not exceeding approximately 8 mm in diameter as shown in Fig. 3
