3、, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by Japan Thermal Spraying Society (JTSS)/ Japanese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being attached, based on the provi
4、sion of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS H 8664 : 1990 is replaced with this Standard. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a patent right,

13、low alloy steel, stainless steel and other al- loy steels on machine parts and other products for the purpose of dimensional restoration mainly of worn portions and portions of insufficient dimension. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this

19、ce 5 Test methods 5 . 1 In the appearance test, observe spray deposit with the naked eye at a place of the brightness of about 200 lx from the distance of about 60 cm from a test surface. Appearance test 5.2 Thickness measurement of sprayed coating The thickness measurement of sprayed coating shall
20、be carried out in accordance with 5.1 or 5.2 of JIS H 8401. 5.3 a) Tensile strength test The tensile strength test shall be as follows: Test piece and fixing jigs lows: 1) The test piece and the fixing jigs shall be as fol- The shape and the dimensions of the test piece and the fixing jigs shall be
21、as shown in figure 1. Sleeves, mandrels, and tapered rings shall be as specified in JIS G 3123. The dimensions of the sleeves shall be 45 mm in outside diameter and 50 mm in length, and the inside diameter shall be finished to be R. Two sleeves and a part thereof shall be tapped to fit tension jigs.
22、 The screw threads shall be 20 mm in diameter and 2.5 mm in pitch. A centre contact portion shall be mated using notches, and the other ends shall be tapered at 90“. The centre contact portion shall be tapped to fit the tension jigs. Sleeves shall be also tapped leaving 10 mm at both ends. The screw
23、 threads shall be finished to 1.25 mm in pitch, and the screw bottom shall be fin- ished to R of 0.4 mm. Two sleeves and two tapered rings are set, and the mandrel (a bolt of 12 mm in diameter) and a nut shall be assembled. No clearance is formed in the contact portion when assembled, and the two sl
24、eeves shall constitute the same surface. This assembled shaft-like article shall be the test piece. The surface of the test piece shall be clean, and blasted with alumina abrasives(1). The entire surface shall be subjected to thermal spraying under the same con- ditions as those of the products. Aft
