Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies
5、injection needles for the purpose of medical treatment, hereinafter referred to as the “injection needles“. Remark: The units and numerical values given in I 1 in this standard are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI), and are appended for reference. 2. Class, Dimension of Needl
6、e and Angle of Point The class, dimension of needle and angle of point shall be as given in Table 1. In case of exports only, the class, dimension of needle, angle of point and dimension of hub recess, when specified specifically by the purchaser, may be modified in proportion to this standard. 2.
12、The shape of points shall be the two types of straight and curved forms, and the angle e of points conform to Fig. 1. Efficiency of Needle 3.1 Inner and Outer Surfaces shall be as follo
14、ws: - Curved .form a - The inner and outer surface of needle (1) The outer surface shall be smoothly finished free from unevenness and flaws. (2) The inner surface shall be free from flaws, polishing dust and adhe- sion of oxide flakes, dust, etc.- (3) The point shall be ground sharply and free from
15、 burrs. (4) When inspected in conformity to the method for inspection under 6.3 (1) , glycerin shall not develop a colour. 3.2 Elasticity of Needle When needles of outer diameter not more than 1. O mm is inspected in conformity to the method for test under 6.4, the needle shall return to the origina
16、l position. 3.3 Bending Strength of Needle The needle shail, when subjected to the test in conformity to the method for test under 6.5, shall not break. 3.4 Pulling Strength of Needle When tested in conformity to the method for test under 6.6, the needle shall withstand the numerical value specified
