11、ulus values are in matching or approximately in matching even though the spectral characteristics are different (hereafter referred to as “metameric pair”) under an illuminant which is taken as a reference (hereafter referred to as “reference illuminant”) by degree that the tristimulus values come t
12、o unmatching when the illuminant is changed. Note (1) A pair of samples does not include the sample with light source and fluorescency . Remarks 1 The evaluation method of degree of metamerism for change in illuminant (hereafter referred to as “degree of illuminant metamer- ism”) specified in this S
13、tandard conforms with the evaluation method of degree of metamerism specified in 5.2 of Publication CIE No. 15.2 (1986) Colorimetry, 2nd ed. (hereafter referred to as “CIE No. 15.2”) the Commission International de 1Eclairage-CIE in short-recom- mended in 1986. 2 In addition to the evaluation method

17、ollowing definitions shall apply, and others be in accordance with JIS Z 8105. (1) degree of metamerism A degree of unmatching of tristimulus values of metameric pair under the observing condition different from the reference. (2) degree of illuminant metamerism A degree of metamerism when the illum

19、 index indicating degree of illuminant metamerism of the metameric pair. Remarks : When it is necessary to distinguish, “Illuminant” shall be described before the words “metamerism index”. 3 Reference illuminant and test illuminant 3.1 Reference illuminant For the reference illuminant, the standard
20、illuminant Da specified in JIS Z 8720 shall generally be used. Remarks : In the case where any other illuminant than the standard illuminant De5 is used for the reference illuminant, it shall be selected from the standard illuminants or supplementary standard illuminants specified in JIS Z 8720, and
21、 its type shall be stated clearly. 3.2 Test illuminant The test illuminant shall generally be selected from the stan- dard illuminant A in accordance with JIS Z 8720 or representative fluorescent lamps having relative spectral power distributions specified in Attached Table 1. In the case where any
22、other illuminant is used for the test illuminant its type shall be stated clearly. Remarks : In selecting the test illuminants of Attached Table 1, F6, F8 and F10 given in bold letters shall preferentially be selected. Informative reference : In the Commission International de 1Eclairage (CIE), F2,
23、F7 and F11 marked with * in Attached Table 1 are defined as to be selected preferentially. 4 Evaluation of degree of metamerism The degree of metamerism of metameric pair shall be evaluated by the metamerism index. The metamerism index shall be a colour difference of metameric pair in colour matchin
24、g under the reference illuminant, evaluated under the test illuminant. In the case where the metameric pair under the reference illuminant and the condition of the tristimulus values not in matching perfectly, the colour difference shall be obtained after a correction has been carried out so that it
