11、dard specifies copper and copper alloy rods and solid wires for inert gas shielded arc welding such as the TIG welding and the MIG welding (hereafter referred to as “rods and wires”). 2 Normative references The standards given in Attached Table 1 contain pro- visions which, through reference in this
12、 Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard. The most recent editions of the standards shall be applied. 3 Classification The rods and wires shall be classified according to the chemical composition of the rods and wires, as shown in Table 1. The representative dimensions of rods are given
22、in Table 3. Diameter 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0, 2.4 b) The diameters and tolerances of wires shall be in accordance with clause 2 of JIS Z 3200. The representative diameters of wires are given in Table 4. 6 Condition of products clause 3 of JIS Z 3200. The condition of products shall be in accordance
23、with The rods shall be straight and each unit mass of the rods shall be packaged. 7 Analysis test a) The diameter of the rods and wires to be used for the analysis test shall be the representative diameter for each type. The analysis method shall be in accordance with any one of the following stan-
24、dards. JIS G 1223, JIS H 1012, JIS H 1292 b) 8 Inspection shall comply with the specifications in 4, 5 and 6. The quality, dimensions and the conditions of the rods and wires 9 Packaging The packaging shall be in accordance with clause 5 of JIS Z 3200. 10 Designation of products The rods shall be de
25、signated by the type, the di- ameter and the length, and the wires shall be designated by the type, the diameter and the mass.
