I shall be put in the steel sheet vessel of length 160mm, width 125mm
、, depth 50mm. (2) The dryer (Appendix I) specified in 2.2(2) of JIS M8812-Method for Ultimate Analysois of Coal and Coke, shall be set previously at the temperature within 100 to 140 C which is suitable for forming, the vessel of (1) containing the sample shall be put in it, and shall be softened th
、e sample by heating. Moreover, the heating temperature shall be clarified on the report, After softened the sample, take out the vessel containing sample, mingle thoroughly and then weigh about 65g quickly, insert it into metallic mold heated previously at 90 to 100C, and shall make forming of diame
、ter 25mm, iength about 80mm by loading about 5Okg with a push rod, After cooling, take it out from the metallic mold, and shall be made as the sample of softening point test. Samples shall be formed 3 pieces (Attached Fig. I ) . (3) 5. Chemical Testing Method 5.1 Estimation Method of Ash Content O 5
、. I . I Summary Sample shall be incinerated by heating at 800 C in air, and shall be made as ash content by the percentage of quantity of residual ash against the sample, 5. I . 2 Apparatus Shall conform to 3.2 of JIS M 881 2-Method for Ultimate Analysis of Coal and Coke, 5. I .3 Operation Operation
、 shall conform to the following methods. Weigh accurately about Ig of sample into the incineration vessel previously set as constant weight, and spread thinly. (I) (2) Put the incineration vessel into previously measured isothermal zone of electric furnace set at room temperature, (3) Slightly open
、the door of the electric furnace and pass the current to furnace, raise the temperature to 5OO0C in about 60 minutes, after that, raise to 8OO0C in 30 to 60 minutes and keep at 800 5 10C. Generally, the keeping time may be one hour, but in case when the incineration is considered as difficult it sha
、ll be 2 to 3 hours. The incineration vessel shall be taken out when the incineration is finished, and shall be cooled, at first on cold metallic plate for 1 O minutes, and then in the desiccator for 15 to 20 minutes. (4) (5) After cooled immediately the quantity of ash shall be obtained by weighing.
、 5, I , 4 Calculation be rounded off to the second figure. Ash content shall be obtained by the following formula and shall W cl=- x 100 where, o: ash content (%) s: weight of sample (g) zu: weight of quantity of ash (g) 5.1 ,5 Frequency of Analysis This operation shall be repeated two times in the
、same analysis room, Moreover, it may be carried out in different electric furnaces at the same time but must not be carried out in the same electric furnace at the same time. In case when the difference between two measured values exceeds the tolerance(l), the opexation shall be made a new start. Co
