2、f test for household freezers of both compression and absorption types operated by electrical energy derived from a single pliase A.C. 60 Hz supply with rated voltage of 220 and /or 127 volts. 3、The following shall be considered: Room temperature hi tlis standard, the temperature shall be in the range between 16?c and 32?c and the relative humidity shall be (60 the test room, and to eliminate possibility of any point in the space in which it is, enclosed being at a temperature other than th

Air circulation shall be such that the specified ambient temperature is obtained within the allowable tolerance, and such that the fieezer is not exposed to a i r currents of velocity above 151n/minute, and that the vertical ambient temperature gradient -o
5、m the platform which carries the fieezer to a height of 2 m shall not exceed 2 k/m. Electric power supply The supply voltage shall be adjusted, to the rated voltage, to the mean value of the voltage range, or to the specified test voltage, w i t h a tolerance of (+i)% of the value. The supply -equen
6、cy varition shall be w i t h i n (Al)% of the rated frequency. 10、l be sealed. 3.5.3 Some 500g packages shall be provided with electrical thermocouples placed at their geometrical centres so as to be used for temperature measurements. These packages are called “M packages. 3.6 Freezer arrangements 3.6.1 Before testing, the freezer shall be installed in accordance
11、w i t h the manuacturers instructions and all intemd fittings supplied witli the appliance shall be put in poistion. 3.6.2 If necessary the interior of the freezer shall be dried and the evaporator defrosted. 3.6.3 The thermostat shall be adjusted accordmg to the mandachu-ers instructions, where app

16、o ensure coiifonnity of the materials, finish, constituents, internal wiring, construction safety measures and markings with their relevant requirements. 5- 5.1 Shelf area - Determination of storage shelf area. . 5.1.1 Shelf composed of a single part The area is the product of the width by the depth

In case of intricate shapes of the Liners, tlie total voiimie sliall be divided into convenient units of volume of geometric shape. Volume of all such units shall
