12、N This Telecommunications Systems Builetin (TSB) applies to TiA/EIA/IS-637. It introduces the following modifications: 14.4 kbps data rate support Service negotiation support The year 2000 clarification IS-637 layering problem correction, editoriai corrections This TSB uses the same structure and se
13、ction numbering as TIA/EIA/IS-637. Sections of this TSB that remain unchanged relative to TIA/EIA/IS-637 are represented using ellipses contained within brackets (I.). Modified sections are either reproduced in their entirety or use the .I notation to represent unchanged portions. Within modified se

17、rd for a Short Message Service (SMS), providing delivery of text and numeric information for paging, messaging, and voice mail notification. This standard includes Service Option 6 and Service Option 14 (as assigned in TSB58), which supports delivery of short messages on CDh4A Traffic Channels. Serv
18、ice Option 6 and Se rvice OD - tion 14 conforms to the general requirements for service options specified in TIA/EIA/IS-95, Mob or that (in the negative form) that a certain possibility or course of action is discouraged but not prohibited. “May“ and “need not“ indicate a course of action permissibl
