Summary of Topics The revisions dated December 31, 2003 were issued to incorporate the following new and revised requirements proposed in the Subject 514D bulletins dated October 14, 2002 and August 15, 2003: Revi
4、sions To Clarify Test Receptacle Dimension Requirements Addition Of Coverplate Construction Requirements For Receptacle Dimensions Revisions To Correct And Update The Reference Publication Clause Revision To Change Reference From ASTM G23 To ASTM G151 And ASTM G153 Revision To Clarify Corrosion Prot
5、ection Requirements Revisions To Delete References To Cadmium Plating Or Coating UL Standards for Safety are developed and maintained in the Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML). SGML - an international standard (ISO 8879-1986) - is a descriptive markup language that describes a documents str
6、ucture and purpose, rather than its physical appearance on a page. Due to formatting differences resulting from the use of ULs new electronic publishing system, please note that additional pages (on which no requirements have been changed) may be included in revision pages due to relocation of exist
7、ing text and reformatting of the Standard. Text that has been changed in any manner is marked with a vertical line in the margin. Changes in requirements are marked with a vertical line in the margin and are followed by an effective date note indicating the date of publication or the date on which t
8、he changed requirement becomes effective. The new and/or revised requirements are substantially in accordance with ULs Bulletin(s) on this subject dated October 14, 2002 and August 15, 2003. The bulletin(s) is now obsolete and may be discarded. The revisions dated December 31, 2003 include a reprint
9、ed title page (page1) for this Standard. As indicated on the title page (page 1), this UL Standard for Safety is an American National Standard. Attention is directed to the note on the title page of this Standard outlining the procedures to be followed to retain the approved text of this ANSI/UL Sta
