3、ng Requirements Including Those for Aluminum Conductors, Clarifi cation of Country-Specifi c Marking Requirements, and Addition of a Marking for Cables not Intended for Outdoor Use; Revision to the Mandrel Diameter and Related Testing Requirements; Reinstatement of Previously Deleted Requirements fo
4、r Thickness of Overall Jacket on Deep Well Pump Cables; Clarifi cation to Several Tables Addressing Various Requirements for Types RW75, RW90, RWU75, and/or RWU90 cables; and Miscellaneous Editorial Wording Revisions COMMENTS DUE: June 18, 2007 This proposal is for review and comment only (no ballot
5、 at this time). Please note that comments on a preliminary review document will not receive a response from the proposal author through CSDS. Instead, the proposal author is asked to review the comments received during the preliminary review and adjust the proposals and/or supporting rationale as th
6、e author determines to be appropriate. The preliminary review process is an informal mechanism that provides authors with the opportunity to refi ne their proposals before the proposals advance in ULs standards development process. Normally, the next step in the process is the more formal STP ballot
7、 and stakeholder review process. Only comments newly posted during the more formal STP ballot and stakeholder review process will be addressed and responded to. For your convenience in review, proposed additions to existing requirements are shown underlined and proposed deletions are shown lined-out

12、RWU90 cables; and Miscellaneous Editorial Wording Revisions RATIONALE Proposal submitted by: Mike Leibowitz, NEMA, on behalf of the CANENA Wire and Cable THSC These proposals were submitted by the CANENA Technical Harmonization Subcommittee (THSC) 20, Building Wire and Cable, the working group respo
13、nsible for the trinational Standard for Thermoset- Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 44. The rationale for each proposed change is provided in the summary table below. The THSCs proposal also incorporates proposed revisions from R. Konnick, Rockbestos to revise Tables 11, 15, and 19 to include Type RW7
14、5. Mr. Konnicks proposal was presented to, and accepted by, the THSC. Note: The proposal includes only those requirements from UL 44 which are proposed to be revised.
