5、r Safety-Related Controls Employing Solid State Devices, UL 991, for common requirements; remove redundant UL 991 requirements, specifi cally the (a) Power Supply Interruption Test, (b) Transient Surge Tests, (c) Ramp Voltage Tests, (d) Electrostatic Discharge Tests, (e) Thermal Cycling Test, and (f
6、) Shipping and Storage Test; and revise tests to include only the equipment settings and confi gurations specifi c to household electric ranges, specifi cally the (g) Transient Overvoltage Tests; (h) Electromagnetic Susceptibility Tests; and (i) Humidity Test. The new and revised requirements are su
7、bstantially in accordance with ULs Proposal(s) on this subject dated September 30, 2005, December 16, 2005, and July 14, 2006. As indicated on the title page (page 1), this UL Standard for Safety is an American National Standard. Attention is directed to the note on the title page of this Standard o
8、utlining the procedures to be followed to retain the approved text of this ANSI/UL Standard. The UL Foreword is no longer located within the UL Standard. 16、THOUT PERMISSION FROM UL UL will attempt to answer support requests concerning electronic versions of its Standards. An employee of an organization purchasing a UL Standard can make a copy of the page

The requirements in this Standard are now in effect, except for those paragraphs, sections, tables, fi gures, and/or other elements of the Standard having future effective dates as indicated in the note following the affected it
