1. on Reading Reading is becoming more and more important and public in our daily life. However, some people insist that reading should improve us and enlarge us. They think reading should improve our knowledge and enlarge our view. While others take an opposite side, firmly believing that reading is a pure enjoyment. It can make us enjoy and relax us from stress. As far as I am concerned, the former is preferable in many senses. Reading should improve us enlarge us. A pure enjoyment is a waste of our life. First, reading should tell us some truths about human life. These might be moral、political or psychological truths. We expected our life to be enlarged. But a pure enjoyment book can not give us. It just gives us a happiness or enjoyment, shortly. Furthermore, with the rapid development of modern technology. The competition becomes more and more fierce. We should improve us and enlarge us from reading. It makes us confidence. At last, we crave knowledge and success. we should take every minute usefully to learn. In conclusion. It is necessary for us to read some useful book which can improve our knowledge and extend our view. 2.On Using Force Against Evil As we went into the 21st century. We all have a dream: it will be a peaceful, stable and development century. However, there is always covered in the shadow of terrorism and war in our the world. Since the 9.11 attachment happened. The terrorism disturbs our peace. Do we use force against evil? Although Bush and Blair lunched the Afghanistan war and Iraq war to against evil. I dont agree on using force. I think people all our the world are longing for peace、stability and development. Using force is not the best way to against evil. First and foremost, force cant give us peace, but war. Although we can use force to against the terrorism or evil now. we cant deal with evil forever. In fact, it make our world more unstable. Furthermore, it directly leads to instability、death、 economy loss. It destroys our society order、disturb our daily life、even they have to leave their home to avoid war. For instance, it said that Iraq is becoming more and more instable and terrible. At last, its the greatest factor influence our peace and stability by using force. We should say no to war. we hate war. We can deal with evil and terrorism by peace talk. In a word, We should say no to war. Peace talk is the best way to deal with problem. All kinds of nations religion should be respected. Each have right to develop their culture. The world need peace and love. We hope the world become more peaceful、stable、harmonious and glorious3.My View on Telling the TruthWhen I first came to US for an interview, I told the customer officers that I was going for an interview. The first one was very rude and asked: "Are you going to stay there if you get the job?" I looked into his eyes and said: "I'm only going for an interview. It isn't illegal, is it?" I also showed him my round trip ticket. The guy was unhappy and gave me a lesson on the need to get a proper visa to work in US if I got an offer. For obvious reason, he gave me only two days to stay in US, which was fine for me. The second officer was very nice and said "good luck for your interview."I used the "telling the truth" strategy because a friend told me his story and I believe in this approach. My friend went for an interview and was denied entry because he told the officers he's visiting. The officers told him frankly that they didn't like him to go for an interview. But they would let him go if he had told the truth. After all, there's nothing wrong with a job interview. You are not guaranteed a job. Even you get an offer, it's not the customer officers' responsibility to decide whether or not give you a visa.4. Are environmental problems insignificant as compared with the great scourges of humanity?Human beings develop incredible high civilization by exchanging for extinction of wild animals and sharply decreasing of natural resources. Water pollution, greenhouse effect, and poisonous gas from chemical industries and so on, what do we do when face with this situation? Sustainable development, which means we should think about both this and future generation, just as popular declaration which was advocated by Beijing Olympic Committee-One World , One Dream. Our dream is which ecological system should not be disrupted by infinitely exploitation. When we come to environmental problems, we still remember SARS was widely epidemic last year, in China. It is natural penalty due to human beings greed, we should take responsibility for environmental deterioration, and dont we think that it is as severe as the scourges of humanity? Desertification, it is another one notable issue, especially in China. In northwest, many villages are died away as the result of desertification. Inhabitants have to leave from their hometown and search for new home where they can keep up their family. Meanwhile, wild plants and animals also are died out, some beautiful landscapes disappear from there. So, do we still think environmental problem is insignificant compared with the scourges of humanity? 5、Is it a Sin to be Infected with HIV? Due to deficient public healthy devices, many isolated and unhelpful children have nothing to do but wait for gods recall in remote villages in China. On the other hand, they cant connect fellowship with other boys , adults discriminate them and worry about they will be infected if touch with them.   So far, quite a few people still take unfair treatment with the HIV carriers and AIDS patients. Some days ago, I got a news in www.sina.com, a young man posted a message in BBS,  presented his feelings that he couldnt  have a regular life with colleagues and couldnt tell truths with his parents. At last he had to escape from familiar work conditions and his friends, and came to an unfamiliar city. From the internet you also knew many youths even attacked him as social rubbish, how poor he is!Nowadays, government and the public come to realize how serious the situations is and pay more attention to it . On the other hand, we should advocate it is a virtue to care for and help them, love them is equal to love yourself. So, we sincerely hope discrimination and indifference will be got away in near future.6 an unforgettable experience My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didnt know how to swim until the last year of my primary school! Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didnt make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!The story of how I learnt to swim is dramatic. One hot summer afternoon, my father and I went to the swimming pool to swim. While my father was changing his clothes, I was roaming along the bank of the pool. Suddenly I heard a voice, “Look out!” and then came a big noise and beautiful splashes. Just when I was admiring the swimmers skills, I slipped into the pool! I was so afraid that I shouted at once! But the water kept coming towards me and I drank a lot of it. I was moving upside down and trying to reach the bank. I was struggling very hard to keep my head above the water. A minute was like a hundred years to me. To my surprise, I was able to keep the style! Just then, my father saw me and he seemed to be shocked. He then said, “Calm down, just wave your arms and legs like this. Right!” And I got it! I finally learnt to swim! You cant imagine how happy I was and I wanted to jump for joy! From this unforgettable experience I learnt that ones power is unlimited. Sometimes you could show that power in an emergency. If you believe that, you will discover the power lying within yourself and achieve your goals. And one has to stay calm when its dangerous. To calm down helps you to think clearly and make the best decision for you. Thats what I have learnt from the experience.7. The Result of Abusing PowerIs the surest way to success for any enterprise is revitalization through new leadership? The speaker claims so in that new leadership will bring new vital in the area and reverse some bad situation of the old one. As for the profession of politics, education and government it is the case in my view, however, in the field of business it may not be so wise to change leader as frequent as the speaker claims. Undoubtedly, there is no one in the world can make the exact decision all the time, so does a leader, especially in the field of politic and government, an alternative system may be a successful way to ensure the right direction of the society development. Moreover, this step down measure is also an efficient way to avoid the corruption and other bad manner which harm the whole interest of the people. Take Nixon, a pervious president of United State, and the Watergate as an appealing example to illustrate that unlimiting of a leadership will result in an abusing of the leader and to be dangerous to the society. Even if there is no significant flaw during the charge of a leader, the measure will also have advantages in that after a long time in charge the leader will form some fixed idea and make decisions just by experience or even by hunch. Apparently, it is dangerous in a leadership.8 Honesty Is the Best PolicyIt is usually better to be honest than dishonest. Sometimes honesty may get you in troubleor hurt someone, but on the whole telling the truth is less harmful than lying. Dishonesty canresult in guilty feelings, cause distrust among people and even ruin your reputation. One of the worse things about lying is that it causes a guilty conscience. Even if no one everdiscovers the lie, you will know about it and it will bother you for a long time.Anotherproblem occurs when others know about your lies.As a result,people will not trust you anylonger and you will lose your reputation and all your friends. Do you still remember the boy whocried wolf for several times so no one would trust him? At last all his sheep were eaten by the wolf. His dishonesty brought him shame as well as damage.So to sum up, honesty not only brings us honor and friendship,but also material gains.Honesty is the best policy we can take.
