This Standard Applies to hexagon nuts of accuracy class A with thread diameter of 1 to 48 mm. This Standard fully complies with CMEA Standard 3680-82. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 4). 2. The design and dimensions of nuts shall correspond to those specified in the drawing and in the table. (Amended Wording, Amendment Nos. 3, 4, 6 and 7). 3. A thread shall be in accordance with GOST 24705. (Amended Wording, Amendment Nos. 2, 4 and 5). 3a. Tolerances of dimensions, deviations of shape and arrangement of surfaces and the test methods, not established by this Standard, shall be in accordance with GOST 1759.1. 3b. Allowable surface defects of nuts and the test methods shall be in accordance with GOST 1759.3. 3a and 3b. (Subsequently Inserted, Amendment No. 5). 4. By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer it is allowed to produce nuts in nominal thread diameter of 36 to 48 mm with a thread pitch of 2 mm. (Amended wording, Amendment Nos. 2 and 5). 5. Technical requirements shall be in accordance with GOST 1759.0. 6. (Removed, Amendment No. 2). 7. The mass of nuts is specified in Appendix 1. 8.
