    【演讲稿】关于爱情的英语演讲稿精选:Love.docx

第 1 页 关于爱情的英语演讲稿精选:Love1 特征码 pAMTLDrllUAiYwCiwjKd If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 第 2 页 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection es, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go. 第 3 页 The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until w we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one 第 4 页 life and one chance to do all the things you want to do. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too. A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that es along their way. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying. There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?t be cured. He was 18 years old and he 第 5 页 could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front d esk where she sat. She looked up and asked, “Can I help you?“ 第 6 页 She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there. He said, “Uh. Yeah. Umm. I would like to buy a CD.“ He picked one out and gave her money for it. “Would you like me to wrap it for you?“ she asked, smiling her cute smile again. He nodded and she went to the back. She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store every day and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn?t. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her. So the next day, he took 第 7 页 all his courage and went to the store as usual. He bought a CD like he did every day and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn?t looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out. RRRRRING! One day the phone rang, and the mother picked it up and said, “Hello?“ It was the girl! The mother started to cry and said, “You don?t know? He passed away yesterday.“ The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy?s mother. Later in the day, the mother went into the boy?s room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all these 第 8 页 CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one. Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it. It said: Hi. I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn. The mother was deeply moved and opened another CD. Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi. I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn. Love is. when you?ve had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, “I Love You.“ 第 9 页
