It is i
3、dentical with ISO 105-X05:1994. It supersedes the relevent method in BS 1006:1990 which is withdrawn by amendment. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee TCI/25, Chemical properties, to Subcommittee TCI/25/-/10, Colour fastness, which has the responsibility to:
4、aid enquirers to understand the text; present to the responsible international/European committee any enquiries on the interpretation, or proposals for change, and keep the UK interests informed; monitor related international and European developments and promulgate them in the UK. 16、e CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 1997, and conflicting national standards shall be wit
17、hdrawn at the latest by October 1997. According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Ne

The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried
21、 out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO
22、 collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires appro
23、val by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote. International Standard ISO 105-X05 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38, Textiles, Subcommittee SC 1, Tests for coloured textiles and colorants. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition (ISO 105-X05:1987), of which
24、it constitutes a technical revision. ISO 105 was previously published in thirteen “parts”, each designated by a letter (e.g. “Part A”), with publication dates between 1978 and 1985.
