14、eonly.Two-nodeswitchless-clusterconfigurationThefollowingexamplesshowaFAS2240systemconfiguredtosupportclusteredDataONTAPwitheitherredundantback-to-backclusterconnectionsorasingle-clusterconnection.Thisconfigurationisreferredtoasatwo-nodeswitchlesscluster.Theredundantconfigurationisrecommended.Single

15、non-redundantclusterconn(ManagenrtBrttZNote:ThisexampleshowsaFAS2240-4system,whichhasitscontrollermodulesarrangedvertically,withoneabovetheother.AFAS2240-2system,scontrollermodulesarearrangedsidebysideinthechassis.Thecablingisthesame,regardlessofthemodelorthepositionofthecontrollermodules.Thisconfi

16、gurationhasthefollowingrequirementsandoptions: TheIO-GbEmezzaninecardisrequiredineachcontrollermodule.AllfourIO-GbEports(theelaandelbportsonbothcontrollers)arerequiredforfullyredundantclusterconnections.Theclusterportsaredirectlyconnectedwithoutaswitch.Note:Aconfigurationusingasingle10-GbEportoneach
