DisplaytheStatuswindowtomonitorthemac

5、hiningoperationIntheVERICUTmenubar,selectInfoStatusTheStatuswindowprovidesinformationaboutthecurrenttoolpathrecordbeingprocessedmachiningconditions.Thiswindowcanbeleftopenforconstantmonitoring,orusetheClosebuttontodismissit.Youcanre-openandclosethiswindowatanytime.3. SetVERICUTtostopprocessingatthee

6、ndofeachfile IntheVERICUTmenubar,selectSetupMotion IntheMotionwindow,StopAt=EndofeachFile OKS-I Iicon -4. CuttheVERICUTstockmodelIntheVERICUTmainwindow,pressthePlaytoEndamillingtoolpathissimulatedInthisexample,thefollowingerrorscanbeseen:ThecuthighlightedwiththeredErrorcolorindicatesmaterialwasremov

7、edfromthefixture.Ifleftasis,thiscouldresultinabrokentoolordamagedfixture.Thereisalsosomeredmarkswhereatoolholdertouchedthepart.TheStatuswindowErrorsfieldrevealsthatVERICUTdetected9errorsduringthistoolpathprocessing.VERICUTuseshighresolutiongraphicsandcolorshadingtoprovideexcellentViSibiIityofthemach

8、iningprocess,andahighqualityimageofthemachinedpart.ThemodelinVERICUTrepresentshowthemachinedpartwouldlook,ifactuallycutbytheNCmachinetool.5. Reviewtheerrorsinthetoolpathfile IntheVERICUTmenubar,selectAnalysisToolpathReviewtodisplaytheToolpathReviewwindow. IntheToolpathreviewwindow,selectthefirsterro

9、rintheErrorcolumnNoticethatthetoolispositionedatthelocationwheretheerroroccurred.Thecutterbodyremovedsomematerialwhilerampinginthepocket.Thiscutterdoesnotcutinitscenter.Becausetheredmarkismachinedafterward,withoutthereview,thiserrorcouldhavebeenmissed.Thereisalsoanerrorwherethelightcomponentcollided

10、withthezzRotaryTablez,component.ThiserrorcomesfromtheMachineSimulationview.Themachinecollisionscanhaveverydangerousrepercussions. Whenfinishedreviewingtheerrors,selectFileClosetodismisstheToolpathReviewwindow.6. Cutthesecondoperation Press the Play to End -l Iicon - The part is fl ipped and a new fi

11、xture is loadedyInthisexample,thefollowingerrorscanbeseen:ThecuthighlightedwiththeredErrorcolorindicatesmaterialwasremovedfromthefixture.Ifleftasis,thiscouldresultinabrokentoolordamagedfixture.TheStatuswindowErrorsfieldrevealsthatVERICUTdetected2errorsduringthistoolpathprocessing.VERICUTuseshighreso

12、lutiongraphicsandcolorshadingtoprovideexcellentvisibilityofthemachiningprocess,andahighqualityimageofthemachinedpart.ThemodelinVERICUTrepresentshowthemachinedpartwouldlook,ifactuallycutbytheNCmachinetool.7. Reviewtheerrorsinthetoolpathfile SelectAnalysisToolpathReviewtodisplaytheToolpathReviewwindow

13、andreviewtheerrorsinthesecondtoolpath. Whenfinishedreviewingtheerrors,selectFileClosetodismisstheToolpathReviewwindow.ALogfileisautomaticallycreatedbyVERICUTwhichidentifiesanyerrorsthatoccurredduringthesimulation.Whenerrorsaredetected,theVERICUTLogfileinformationidentifiestheexactdatablockwhichcause

14、dtheerror,aswellasthelinenumberoftheblockinthetoolpathfile.TheVERICUTLogfilecontainsothervaluableinformation,suchas:whenandwhattoolpathfile(s)wereprocessed,simulatedmachiningtimes,andmore.TheLogfilecanbeviewedviatheInfomenu,asdemonstratedbythenextstep.8. OntheTranslatetab,selectMove.Theblockshouldbepositionedon
