17、lowareconsideredreflective.Themethodinthisdocumentisbasedonpropagationofthetestsignalfromthesourcetotheroadsurfaceandbacktothereceiverthroughanimpedancetubewithadiameterof80mmto100mm.Thetubecoversanareaofapproximately0,0OSm2to0,008m2andafrequencyrange,inone-thirdoctavebands,from250Hzto1600Hzfora100m

20、ureisextendedwithapreferencefortransferfunctionHcalculatedastheratiooftheautospectrumS22atthelowestmicrophonepositionandthecrossspectrumS21andrequirementsontheresolution,thesamplefrequencyandtheblocklengthintheFFTanalysisaddedwitharequirementontheaveragenarrowbandcoherencewithinaone-thirdoctaveband.
21、Recommendationsforimprovementoftheaccuracybyalternativemicrophonearrangement,variationintransferfunctionandtypeofrandomnoisearepresentedinArmeXC.Thismethodiscomplementarytotheextendedsurfacemethod(ISO13472-lffl)thatcoversanareaofapproximately3m2andafrequencyrange,inone-thirdoctavebands,from250Hzto40
22、00Hz.Bothmethodsshouldgivesimilarresultsinthevalidfrequencyrange,buttheirfieldsofapplicationandthereforetheiraccuracywilldifferstrongly.ThemethoddescribedinISO13472-1haslimitedaccuracyatsmallsoundabsorptionvaluesandisthereforeunfittocheckcomplianceofsurfaceswiththerequirementsinISO10844orsimilarregu
23、lations,whilethemethoddescribedinthisstandardfailsathighersoundabsorptionvalues.Withintheirrangesofapplicabilitythemethodsareapplicablealsotoacousticmaterialsotherthanroadsurfaces.Themeasurementresultsbythismethodarecomparablewiththeresultsoftheimpedancetubemethod,performedonborecorestakenfromthesur
24、facesuchasISO10534-llISO10534-2andASTME1050-19m.Themeasurementresultsobtainedwiththismethodareingeneralnotcomparablewiththeresultsofthereverberationroommethod(ISO354t1l),becausethemethoddescribedinthisInternationalStandardusesaplaneprogressivewaveatnormalincidence,whilethereverberationroommethoduses
